Odeal, a London-based singer/songwriter, who’s lived in Europe and Africa, used his transient upbringing to incorporate influences from different cultures in his music, including Nigeria’s recently conceived Alté scene.

In November 2020, he released his OVMBR: Roses EP, described by NME as ‘a multi-faceted eight-track EP where buttery vocals and relatable lyrics are laced with romance, deceit and self-liberation’, and has recently collaborated with UK rappers Abra Cadabra, Nines and Headie One. This year, Odeal released his self-produced single Karma, and his track Passenger, receiving praise from publications including GRM Daily and Complex.
